Covenant Academy is a private Christian school located in Pinellas County.  In winter of 2015, the founder of Covenant Academy along with an administrative team began praying about opening a University Model® school in Pinellas County. Joining them were parents and educators who affirmed the vision and mission for a new school, and were passionate about family focused, Christ centered learning. The Lord paved the way for Covenant Academy to be officially incorporated in the spring of 2015 as Covenant Academy Florida, Inc. and opened under the name Covenant Academy in August 2015.

Covenant Academy, a University Model® school (UMS) for grades K-8, integrates the best attributes of traditional education and independent study into one program designed to provide a quality, cost-effective, college preparatory education. Students attend classes on campus like most college students, three days a week receiving professional instruction by highly qualified and degreed instructors, and then study for their classes under the parent’s instruction and guidance at home on the other days. This partnership between parent and teacher is the key to student success in the UMS model.
